I’ve often wondered if our deep coal mines could be turned into pumped hydro storage. It’s just two reservoirs, a pipe, and some turbines.
Are these former coalmine sites close to large population centres?
Because we all know how this goes…
You can cum in your pants for renewables as much as you want.
But if there’s not the infrastructure present to get the power into the grid, then it’s all for nought.
