It’s horilka, Ukrainian vodka. It’s very often flavored and infused with things like honey and pepper. Me, I find it delicious. That’s a good brand.
As for tradition: Ukrainians be giving *presents*. Like all the time. Food and, yes, horilka are frequently given as gifts.
Man that looks good and it’s a super interesting bottle. Wouldn’t mind trying some someday. Hopefully when this whole thing blows over and visiting Ukraine is possible again.
