Maybe they should add rocket defense like iron dome, towers with Jammers against drones and also flak turrets against drones. They should focus on drones, cuz thats how ukraine and Russia fight their war.

All three Baltic states must do it. They should be obliged as it looks like they have plans for mass evacuation to Western Europe but no plans for building any type of defenses.
It’s a pretty good article. I’ll add a little text.
This trench will be behind the border line, 4 meters wide and 2 meters deep, while an embankment of 1 m will be made on the Estonian side.. It is designed to slow down the movement of armored vehicles and ATVs inland, giving the army and territorial defense forces time to concentrate. There will be bunkers behind the trenches (Estonia plans to build 600 bunkers along the entire length of the border), and although the article does not say this, I am sure that minefields will be exposed during the dangerous period. Probably the highways will also be equipped with devices, as South Korea has, to make traffic on the highway impassable (I remember in the early 2000s I found anti-tank traps on the border of Bavaria and the Czech Republic). The Baltics are doing everything that in case of an attack from Moscow , they have time to give help from other countries.

I am baffled with the Baltics military strategists. Haven’t they learned anything from the Russo-Ukraine war? If you want to halt a russian attack, like in its tracks halt, just build a line from washing machines, refrigerators, fuck it an old microwave or a toaster would do better than the dragon teeth!
Estonians sure are slow. Russia has practically stopped using tanks for offensives already because of the drones (in favor of motorbikes and quadricycles); even the “Mad Max” style ones are used less this year. The time of tanks has passed.
These ditches Estonians are building are probably pretty much pointless now… Drone and anti-drone defence development looks much more to the point.
Should be an unified NATO investment all around the Russian border.
