      It was completely and unbelievably wrong that he had to be chemically castrated as a punishment for his homosexuality. 

      And that such treatment still exists today for gay men like him 

    2. The way this man was treated was truly tragic, only in 2011 British government Pardon Turing for his conviction of “gross indecency. Turns out in 1951 in the UK and USA anyone known to be homosexual was considered a potential security risk, as a result Turing was denied entry into the United States after his conviction in 1952, but was free to visit other European countries.

      code-breaking genius, saved the world from nazi takeover, then was  hounded and persecuted by UK government following anti-gay laws that matched the nazi’s laws . . . until he committed suicide, by eating a poison apple of his own devising . . .
