Just a thought of mine. Ukraine managed to refit BUK Launchers, enabling launch of AIM-7 Sparrows, even though they originally use Soviet surface to air missiles. The same with some of their OSA SHORAD systems.
If it is possible (key words: If possible), I wonder if Ukraine could manage to modify their exisiting Patriot Batteries (i.e. recalibrate the Radar and targeting systems and refit their launchers). For example, either (1) accommodate other existing Western alternatives like the Aster-30 (Surface to Air, Anti Ballistic capable missile) or (2) use a local design, say an upgraded S-300 munition, or (3) perhaps produce one with the help of Western Allies. So far, this is, from what I understand, one of the most crucial/priority needs that the Armed Forces of Ukraine, especially as Ukraine finds difficulty, at the moment, which is having enough anti ballistic missile interceptors.
Anything that could solve the shortage of PAC-3 anti ballistic missile interceptors can help the Ukrainian air defense network immensely. Those Patriot Systems are going to be just fancy relics without any new supply of PAC-3 missiles, so perhaps, and I hope, there is going to new batches or alternative solutions for the ammo shortage in the works.

Very good and the urgency is great
