And people want to vote in the guys that came up with the idea.
Honestly sometimes I think this country gets the government it deserves.

Tell you what. Roll back all those additional taxes and then charge it to the pensioners, seeing as they massively voted by like 8/10 to gimp all of us, who work and provide their pensions, I say we make them pay for their own stupid fucking mistake.
It would be generally preferable if you could actually track who voted for what so that anyone who voted leave has their wage or pension or benefit garnished for it. Absolute fucking knuckle dragging decision, getting finessed by dumb Russian propaganda you could deconstruct with a 2 minute google search.
Yes. I’m angry. When the Tories ignored the problem and Labour take it on by increasing taxes, making us all poorer, this is Brexit, which we fought for and got called project fear and remoaners.

Brexit the gift that keeps on giving. Russia invested wisely in the Tories as this bomb just keeps on bouncing.

That’s 40 billion of tax not coming into the government. Think about the 100billion that would be churning in the economy if we hadn’t voted for Brexit. Ask yourself this next time Jobs, the NHS, or any public services aren’t doing well. Also, the cuts that won’t be necessary to make up this short fall. Brexit was always stupid conspiracy nonsense. Who really believed the nation could make X money if only you just did Y!… all from home!

Don’t forget, we are saving a shit ton of money by not paying into the EU budget, we are also not liable for EU federal borrowing, for the Covid bailout, nor the green deal. We have all this and a FTA.
In some ways, we have a better deal, especially with the new carve outs that Labour have secured. We also quickly secured a trade deal with Trump, whereas the EU is being hurt as it drags its feet. We have access to various EU schemes, with a budget contribution, which is fair.
We are also the fastest growing G7 nation in the last 6 months.
I was just thinking I haven’t seen a Brexit article in a few days.
One day we will make a week with no mention of it.

I unfortunately had a conversation with a Reform voter last week (I didn’t know this until they started talking politics). We were talking about the nice weather and Strawberries she was growing and somehow got to Farage and “Evil Keith Stamer” wanting to take us back in the EU Do they say his name wrong on purpose?
She said the EU was bad because of how much it was costing us. I said to her we got a lot back from being in the EU. She almost stepped back she was so offended. She said we didn’t EU a a single penny. She genuinely thought the UK benefited nothing from being in the EU.
These people don’t have a basic understanding of how things work. They couldn’t explain to you what the EU actually is and what it was for and how it affected their lives.
Its worrying, you can’t win with these people because they don’t have the ability to have a rational thought.
