Did the lions get put down? Probably. Humans behaving like dumbasses and the animals end up dead. Why tf is anyone going into their enclosures with them anyway?? Move them into an adjacent cage while working. A caretaker might well work someplace for 17 years, or whatever, like that lady, and one day the lion gets irritated or wants to play and half the human’s flesh gets removed. Then the lion dies because it’s not behaving like a stuffed toy.
Leaving aside the cruelty of breeding to create white lions and tigers because it *may* have happened naturally…
