I think this is completely brilliant.
I’m a firm believer in the adage *don’t let perfect be the enemy of good* and this exemplifies it. Of course a self-administered home test isn’t as good as a clinician-administed test in a clinical setting, but it’s many orders of magnitude better than not getting screened at all.
I don’t want to hear sniffy comments about how nobody enjoys their smear but it only takes a few minutes etc etc, because we are talking about people for whom the standard procedure is so daunting they simply do not go. I am in this group, and have previously done a private at-home test as a stop-gap.
This will save lives.

A fantastic idea, the easier we make screening the easier it is to catch issues in their early stages.

Great idea but i think there value in extra tests a gyno can give that’s checking for other issues or vulva cancer signs
