But we all know poles hate Russians, so they aren’t going to fall for it /s

We European should finally do the same… because surprisingly and shockingly it works. So we need Hackers, Scammers, Propaganda… all in Russian language and in Russian channels. We should fight back now, before it’s too late.

And let’s not pretend there isn’t a metric shit-ton of pro-Russian and Iranian propaganda in Reddit too.

I love Poland but one of my biggest disappointments when I started spending more time there, understood the language more and talked with a variety of people is that they’re no different whatsoever from Bulgarians falling for the dumbest propaganda that usually has Russia as its origin.

I guess in my head due to their history with Russia I really thought Poles will be extra alert and immune to that nonsense but nah, all the cretinous things Bulgarians on social media believe, the poles are lapping up too. I almost burst out laughing when I heard a pole mention “gender propaganda” and “Norway gays stealing children” lol. On a more positive note it also gave me a perspective that maybe I should chill with the inferiority complex and understand that we (Bulgarians) aren’t somehow dumber than anyone else and it seems lapping nonsense is a universal thing. Yay?

    7. How stupid you need to be to be Polish and believe Kremlin propaganda?? smh

    8. So, there is 150000 subscribers for 22 channels, which is about 5-10k per channel, and BBC throws tantrum over it? Those guys can’t stand different opinion.

The Russians have simply copied the successful methods used by the United States and its allies to defeat the Soviet Union: direct media to the population.
      Apparently, this approach is effective.
Why is the EU and the United States’ media  not working to the Russians?
They  (Russian ) have access to the internet and messaging apps, but Putin’s support remains strong.

I remember the feeling when I saw somebody scrolling through one of these on a train next to me. It’s a weird kind of second-hand embarassment.
In Poland there aren’t that many **openly** pro-Russian news outlets. Most of actually pro-Russian info bubbles are just strongly anti-Ukrainian and anti-Western (let’s face it, it’s easier, yet enough). Usually hand in hand with more extreme wing of right-wing populism. Which through that combination is gaining actual traction and for example recent presidential elections anti-ukrainian sentiment was used heavily. Not to mention comment sections under pretty much anything related.

      Sidenote:
I, myself follow two Russian channels. And **if you know what you’re doing** RYBAR can be pretty informative on couple things, especially vibe inside Russian structures as they aren’t just endlessly optimistic and as far as Russian sources go – have pretty solid info/maps (still Russian POV, they literally label Dnipro as currently Occupied Russian city)
The other one is ANNA News and it’s so ridiculous it’s for the laughs. Then, suddenly you remember people actually believe that and laughs go away.

    11. What about reddit subs which spread pro-EU propaganda. Should they be banned?

If it makes you angry and support war

      It’s probably propaganda

    14. Hour-Cheesecake6716 on

And the BBC is spreading pro Reform propaganda but hey ho

True democracy implies multi-thinking. Let the people of European countries listen to both points of view first, and then decide who is right and who is wrong. Learn to respect people, they can decide for themselves.

    16. Wow great Russian cloning USAID. BBC is complete propoganda itself by the way.
