      Damn. Not only are the politicians forced to speak baby for trump to be on their good side. But then trump also posts it for the world to see. It’s like taking a double embarrassment.

      People need to chill the fuck out. This is called public relations and Rutte knows damn well this is what Trump likes to hear – praise. Even though to Rutte, it’s just for publicity.

      Take the main positive from this, a stronger militarized Europe. We won’t just have China and USA leading the military world it will also be Europe.

      Rutte is very good at this. He is treating him as a child, this works best. Much easier to manipulate someone this way. Never voted for Mark, but gotta admire his skills in this.

      I can believe this is real, and I’m not upset. I mean, I couldn’t get these words out of my mouth without puking, but Rutte is playing the guy like he should. Lest we forget already that the last person blowing smoke up Trumps ass got him involved in an armed conflict with Iran.

      Right now Europe is starting to invest more in its security, and Rutte is keeping Trump as much on board with continuing nato as he can. Communicating as a normal adult is for when the next US president takes over, hopefully.

      It’s a problem to give him political wins, when the American people are literally fighting for their freedom right now, trying to slow him down and keeping their country from becoming authoritarian.

      The Americans fought against fascism in Europe, we should not pay him back by fighting FOR fascism in the US.

      The fact that Trump posts this as a win, however, means that Rutte apparently know more about pragmatic cringe than I do.

      He’s a clever man, Mr. Rutte. I’m sure he was vomiting the entire time he wrote it, but he is a former Dutch prime minister. Chaos is the political reality in the Netherlands. Trump has literally been given all he asked for w.r.t. NATO. It’s something they have been neglecting (at the US’s insistence) at the national level, but it’s gotten the message.

      Trump is a traitor to the US in service of Russia. Most people know this. But Trump does everything on social media. Trump has to find a way to weasel out of anything that Putin doesn’t like, but this is a good way to box him into a corner. Of course, he’ll just lie and proclaim “peace” and “cease fire” into the ether, but this leaves him nowhere to go to gainsay it.

      Didn’t like him as a PM, but no one can deny that a cranky Dutchman will defend you well.

      Hahahaha, this is awesome. Everyone who has heard Mark Rutte speech in the past knows he is just dumbing it down for Donald Trump and that he’s just giving compliments to Donald Trump because it helps him.

      They really are treating him like a child.
