Ok now it’s not the matter of if these questions are heading towards the world and the universe, it’s a matter of when.

Kingdom of Belgium Announces Strategic Divestment of France and the Netherlands to Maximize Shareholder Value

Brussels, July 21, 1831, The Kingdom of Belgium today announced it has finalized the sale of its territorial holdings in France and the Netherlands in a bold move aimed at unlocking hidden value, streamlining governance, and focusing on core competencies.

“This divestment allows Belgium to sharpen its strategic identity and return value to its stakeholders,” said a palace spokesperson. “France and the Netherlands are exceptional regions, but they will thrive better under new management aligned with their unique cultural and economic direction.”

The historic transaction is expected to bolster Belgium’s balance sheet, fund major investments in chocolate R&D and cyclist infrastructure, and position the nation for accelerated growth in its flagship assets: beer, surrealism, and cautious pragmatism.

Markets responded favorably, with Belgian Shares (BE.SOV) up 8.3% on news of the leaner, more focused crown.
