Not surprised. The law let her down. The Gardai can’t act unless specific threats are made, even if a clear and escalating pattern of harrassment is occurring.
As is often the case in these gang attacks, one of the attackers is still at large (and seemingly the most violent one in this case). Zero reason (other than judges who see the criminals as the real victims) why the other three shouldn’t be facing indefinite contempt sentences until they name him.
What a coward. A coward on the night by calling his cousin. A coward afterwards by not saying what he knew and a coward in court by denying he was responsible. Let’s not forget the guy who did the damage to her eye is still unidentified. they all protected him.
