      You can tell when the US is awake and online, because the discourse on this sub gets way more conservative and hateful. Then during the mornings in Europe, it’s much more humane.

      Reddit is American, posts make it to r/all, there are more Americans here than Germans, French, Ukrainian, Mexican, or Indian, so yeah, of course this happened.

      Pretty much all post in Europe. And while it is not surprising or unexpected, it gives some perspective on the agenda brought by people in the discussions.

      Especially when discussion goes against those three countries, you can see the brigading activating.

      Most of Reddit’s population is from the USA, just check any post insights.

      All my posts in this sub have overwhelmingly American viewers. That’s why I never take seriously any discussion of migration or other hot topics that has overt MAGA talking points.

      All of my posts have similar country ratio no matter the sub. I think most are just bot views.

      Isn’t it possible it just made it to the frontpage of Reddit after it got some traction? Reddit in general has way more US than EU users so anything on r/popular will probably be skewed to US viewers

      Well, yeah? Reddit is an American website, the sub is in the English language, of course the bulk of the users are going to be American. 

      I would imagine for most subs that aren’t either hyper-local, tiny, or in another language, you’d see a similar thing.

      Trolling is whatever.

      But the “it’s not all Americans, I’m one of the good ones” crowd irks me.

      The whole of Reddit is basically /r/USdefaultism. Aren’t we allowed to a have a Europe sub be focused on Europeans lol.

      American here. Idk if this is representative, but I’ve been subbed for a while and never commented or posted. Just enjoy getting an outside perspective on our dumpster fire of a country.

      Also, like keeping tabs on how far right movements are doing abroad, and unfortunately, they’re making a comeback on both sides of the Atlantic :/

      So, what is the overall redditor distribution?
      I ask because if 90% of all redditors are from US, then this is a lot less surprising.

      edit: also to be considered is VPN use.

      Ok I’m American, but I used to live in Denmark and the UK, and my Mom is French, so I pay attention to what everyone is dealing with.

      We aren’t all Trump supporters, I want to know what’s going on with the rest of my friends and family

      Call me a schizophrenic conspiracy theorist but it wouldn’t surprise me if a good portion of these are CIA/NSA bots. But you would think they’d be smart enough to hide their origin using a VPN.
