But pretending the west did absolutely nothing in-between this timeline is not helpful nor is pretending Ukraine did nothing either.
I’m not saying Russia good because that’s not it, but to just say Russia wants to invade us all based on nothing but ignorance surrounding timelines is as ridiculous as saying Iran has always been the bad guy while England robbed them for the last 100 years……

Russia only understands two things,
Use of Force, And the Threat of force.
Give Ukraine the means to remove Russia from inside their 1992 borders by force and then beef up the security on the eastern front by a lot. And then publish plans on how to defang and declaw the russian bear within x amount of days / weeks / months. Judging by the reactions around the little march towards Moscow by Wagner troops i guess it would not take long.

Two things I always find super weird about the Ukraine war
Nobody can tell me how it will stop beyond Putin and Russia deciding to unilaterally surrender one day
And nobody has mentioned once democracy returns to the Ukraine how to stop russian political operatives from controlling it
Like, how do you win when even the most deluded self aggrandizing vision of all Ukrainian territory returned and a heartfelt Russian apology, maybe a dead Putin, will simply yield a political situation where Russia will have extreme amounts of influence.

If Russia invaded the USA and occupied Texas we would say the USA has been invaded. We wouldn’t say Texas was invaded or USA wasn’t fully invaded. Same should go for Ukraine.
Ukraine has been invaded since 2014.

complete nonsense, especially regarding the grain deal and the Minsk agreements. The most ridiculous thing is that these theses are presented as truth

Bottom Line
• Is the sequence of events described broadly correct?
Yes, if you want a pro-Ukrainian, anti-Russian summary that fits a Reddit/Western media narrative.
• Is it accurate in the full, historical sense?
No. It’s a one-sided representation that ignores complexity, mutual blame, and the wider context.
How Should You Label This Image?
• Factually Based but One-Sided: It cherry-picks facts that support a single narrative and omits context that would show a messier, more ambiguous reality.
• Propaganda/Advocacy Meme: It is designed to persuade, not inform neutrally.

You are missing quiet a lot of context to this poster.
How about adding Declaration of State Sovereignty of Ukraine intention of becoming a permanently neutral state that does not participate in military blocs and adheres to three nuclear free principles: to accept, to produce and to purchase no nuclear weapons ? Ukrainian troops ignoring requirement to give up on weapons and armor during retreat from Ilovaysk ? Ukrainian parliament passing the law that banned elections results in Donetsk and Luhansk which were requirements for demilitarization under Minsk Agreement ? Western authorities not removing Russian bank from sanction list under Black Sea Grain Initiative ?

Maybe you should mention the coup d’etat committed on the democratically elected ukranian government by far right nationalists in 2014 supported by the west. And the death of 42 pro Russians by fire in Odessa. Or maybe the fact that western leaders admitted the Minsk agreements wasn’t to make peace but to buy time for Ukraine to form an army to attack the separatists in donbass who didn’t acknowledge the newly formed government.
But I guess that doesn’t fit the western narrative…

When russia invaded Georgia ,I in my age then, understood that we are living with on borrowed time.
Then in Crimea in 2010 I started hearing the sentiments from russian tourists that this is their land and ukrainians should unite with them. The signs were there, all along. In 2019 biggest mistake happened that eventually transformed into full scale invasion.
