      In Romania is ~5€ per hour before taxes minimum wage

      After taxes is ~3€ per hour….

      Depending on the job offering you also get ~120€ per month in food stamps

      High minimum wage does not solve high cost of living, when do people and politics will understand? You think business will just eat the costs? They always use it as excuse to gauge prices much higher than these 2 extra dollars people will get. Congratulations your monthly salary went up by 50 euros and expenses by 100. Politicians should actually address the problem of high cost of living and people should not celebrate this or demand even more

    7. Nearly 50% in 7 years, absolutely insane. Prices will just go up, it’s a never ending cycle. Consumers end up paying, nobody is better off except for the rich. €2500 a month for someone without any skills or experience to scan your groceries..
