Tremendous banter.
I saw an article on this last night and I still don’t know the point of this stunt was. It is a Boris Johnson type move: literally having their cake and eating it.
If ACP don’t conduct public consultations which are the main delay right now then the project can stopped in the courts as the planning process wasn’t followed correctly. If the green are calling for planning to be sped up then maybe they should call for planning rules and regulations to be relaxed as they are already too big for planners to be able to process effectively. More planners will not address the flaws in the planning system. The greens are not even out of government that long.
To be honest it is the hypocrisy that is annoying me, the greens want a tough planning process for projects they don’t like and they want the projects they are in favour of to breeze though.
