Reading that article it sounds like he needs to be hauled-up before the GMC and struck-off if necessary.

Genuine question, why is it nearly always a GP (or equivalent primary care doctors in the US, which seems to be much worse for it!) selling dodgy supplements/pills over other (edit: medical) specialties? I know it is very very few GPs, as the vast majority practice evidence based medicine, but has always made me wonder.

I guess this shows that we need to pay doctors more. To study for that long only to have to misuse that knowledge/status/title.
