      Fair enough, let’s see how they like it if that gets done anytime a wee march is planned. During would be better I guess but the logistics would be real tricky.

      There will be loads of cctv on a main street like that.

      If anyone ever wonders why we still need to celebrate Pride month here, thinking perhaps we’ve made enough strides … we have, but it’s stuff like this that still needs to be fought.

      Hopefully the local community gets together and clean up the streets in defiance of the vulgar few.

      Got to be one of the worst towns in Ireland. I’d rather have 1000 pride parades than one of the orange drummers parade.

      “Family-owned businesses and their staff are currently cleaning up the mess”- Did they not realise or care that the parade wouldn’t be the only people affected? What have they got against local business?

      I hope there is pressure on the PSNI to hold somebody to account.

      Seen a brilliant on a FB post about it, was along the lines of “thanks to the massive clean up operation, tbe street will now be cleaner for the parade than it was even before the slurry was spread, bet they never thought of that.”
