Last time I smoked at my desk at work was in the Hague, in the 90s 🙂 Very cool place .Holland has probably gone the same way.
Honestly, this is a great policy. I can see it being unpopular and being seen as “authoritarian” but it really is for the common good. I hope this is adopted throughout the continent.

Good. Smoking should be banned everywhere in the public. Nowadays there are plenty of nicotine delivery options that don’t give people around you cancer, there is absolutely no need to tolerate smoking even for people who legitimately can’t kick the addiction.

When NYC banned smoking at bars/restaurants, they all complained they will lose smoking customers etc. Guess what smokers still came to bars/restaurants at same numbers. This will help lower people’s smoking rates which will only help with future health of the population.
