It’s great the new pope is firmly in the Ukrainian camp but as someone who was raised in a protestant environment I deeply detest the notion of Russian aggression being a ‘test of faith’.
I feel it takes away from both the sheer evil that is modern Russia as well as the extreme suffering that is brought upon our Ukrainian sisters and brothers.

Perhaps you could have a word with your boss and get him to stop the senseless killing and maiming of Ukrainians? That’s certainly what an all-powerful, all-caring, all-loving god would want to.

Interesting how he doesn’t mention the men getting blown to bits while they are fighting to defend the children, young people, and elderly. He is virtue signalling. and making essentially a political statement. “Difficult test”? How about you call Ruzzia the devil that it is? That would be a good start.
