The only thing that I would add here for the purpose of understanding the state of things in Serbia is that the prime minister did not resign due to the colapse of the train station canopy.

He resigned months after that, when a group of his own party supporters beat up a female student with clubs, broke her jaw and left her on the street…

And just to clarify for those following state media from Serbia, those same huligans are now being called heroes by the president and the ruling party…
