The results of this Eurobarometer might be encouraging, but they come at a time when carbon credits are on the table, supply chain legislation is being gutted and the European Green Deal is under attack. One can argue about whether this is good or bad, but the direction of travel in terms of policy is clear; less regulation, less oversight, less specificity. I personally do not trust market solutions to tackle climate change. So, I find it difficult to take the quotes of the commissioners included seriously.

Do they really? I’m asking about concrete actions, there.

Yeah. I am sure that 80% of the Europeans are in favor of deindustrialization, higher cost of living and radically change out habits.

One thing’s for sure, electrical power demand is going up… NVIDIA has already running AI data centers that draw as much power as the city of San Francisco from what i red. and with all the new EVs, and other robotics… were gonna need a lot of power.

Replant your fucking forests. Change your diets… I haven’t seen all of Europe, but boy do I see a fuck ton of land used strictly for animal feed.
