But.. but.. socialism is bad. Time for the US to grow up and smell the numbers.

rich europeans benefit a lot from the better infrastructure, less violence and such and probably also going to stay rich for longer… I have never understood why you would stay in the US if you are rich

People from a poorly educated and obese nation who pay over the odds for their healthcare die earlier than countries with interests in sports and the outdoors, socialised healthcare, and better quality food. Can’t say I’m surprised…

While your healthcare in Europe is a lot better we have **a lot** of really rich morbidly obese people who own lots of fast food franchises. I’ve know multiple rich Americans who are a 125kg or more. That’s probably the determining factor here.

this is not what the study says, but thanks for the clickbait i guess.
what the study says is:
> The nation’s wealthiest Americans have shorter lifespans on average than the wealthiest Europeans
and the point that OP exaggerated for internet points is:
> in some cases, the wealthiest Americans have survival rates on par with the poorest Europeans in western parts of Europe such as Germany, France and the Netherlands

According from Americans they are rich. So rich so stupid instead.
That’s why living in Europe is gold.

Maybe that socialism thing isn’t really bad?
Who could have thought?
Edit:
Guys, I was joking and making fun of Americans who badmouth socialism and call every welfare policy socialism. I was being sarcastic. I know that this isn’t socialism.

I don’t really get the conclusions of this study. Why would it be better if Americans live longer without paying more for healthcare? The article hints at socialist ideas that could dramatically decrease the growth prospects of health, pharma, tobacco, gastronomy, food and liquor companies and thereby harm the portfolios of the common people. Furthermore this could result in unfair trade practices targeting companies I’m invested in
