      “I don’t do drugs”… isn’t there a photo of her smoking a joint?

What a moron. Who the hell takes a flight without knowing what they have in their suitcase? She’s so full of shit! I hope she gets what she deserves

While I will give her the benefit of the doubt on the torture/coercion thing, I do wonder this –

When in the airport was someone with her from the gang holding a gun to her back? A sniper trained on her somewhere? Extremely unlikely, pretty much zero chance post security.

This is your chance to simply dump the case at worst and fly without it. Leave it in a toilet or something, or anywhere. You’d probably create a security alert, but there’s your chance to simply vanish into the crowd. Even if your only choice was to fly to Georgia, at least you’re turning up legally and it’s a fairly quick flight back to the UK or at least the EU.

Best case scenario there’s police and security all over the place, speak to them. I know she says she tried but I doubt she tried that hard.

She’s 100% a liar. But no doubt the judge will fall for it.

Seems like somebody who has gotten away with everything in life up until now.

Let’s face it, if we give this the most favourable interpretation and assume it’s true – that she was threatened – then all that means is that she’s found herself in bother with organised crime.

These gangs aren’t just grabbing and threatening random people – why on Earth would they do, and risk that, when there are plenty of willing mugs, uh, mules, desperate addicts, and again people who “owe” them to lean on.

Lol, she bragged about doing, or wanting to do a variety of crimes before she did the smuggling and showed off money she claimed she’d made from crime online.

      Bang her up. For stupidity.

      Man caught = man’s fault
      Woman caught = mans fault??

For coercion to be an absolute defence, she has to evidence that;-

There was an immediate threat of death or serious physical harm, the fear of the threat must be reasonable, and the threat must be immediate and not future.

Furthermore, coercion is not a defense if the person has any reasonable way, other than committing the crime, to escape the threat of harm.

Given what we do know about her case, I do not see a Court accepting the threat was immediate. An airport is one of the safest places in the world. She was travelling alone. Even if someone else coercing her was on the flight, she had so many safe opportunities to raise the alarm.

On the balance of probability and with a weak defence presented, I do not fancy her chances.

It is very unlikely she is given a 20 year sentence though.

Honestly living in a working class environment where drug dealers are everywhere, not only are women involved by their own initiatives and merits, these women also openly admit that when their caught, they do get to hide behind the defense of “I was abused, forced, tortured, blackmailed” and they normally face little to no charges, get off Scott free with no criminal charges against their names and keep their freedom to spend their ill gotten gains.

Women face far less jail time than male counterparts for the same crime, why wouldn’t women get involved in the drugs game when society treats them like an endangered species anyway? Honestly it’s the perfect recipe to get away with it too.

A girl with drug dealer lips and Botox claiming victim here just isn’t it. She was knowingly involved.

Lol. “She doesn’t want to smuggle our drugs. Shall we find some other idiot to carry it? Nah, let’s torture her”

    12. mufferman1 on

Is there a prosecution building a case against her currently? All I’m seeing is statements from her defence.

    13. KoffieCreamer on

It’s highly unlikely she was tortured after the instagram pics. At the end of the day, if she wants half a chance this is the only story she can claim. Otherwise she’s fucked

Is that the scars you can’t see in her arrest pictures?
