Nelson pointing meme
>“I found myself bullied quite badly, it doesn’t matter that I was a unionist or my father was a military man.
>“The fact I came from Northern Ireland meant I found myself being bullied and beaten quite a lot and that had an effect on my life as a young man.”
It’s quite amazing that you could experience first hand how little of a shit the British establishment gives about whether you love the queen or not, you’re still a “paddy” in their eyes. And having gone through that, saying it had a profound effect on your life, you still pledge yourself to defend the union between Northern Ireland and a governement that sees you as nothing more than some shit stuck to their shoe.

He has no problem with the abuse happening, it’s just that he thinks he should have been exempt from it because he’s a unionist.
Unionism is a mental illness
(I don’t write this lightly)
The tragic irony of the Unionist. Everyone including most Brits just views them as Irish by default.
The Brits regard Unionists the same way r/Ireland regards Irish Americans 😆
