Will literally anyone in EU finally support democracy in Serbia?

      Thats the better question.

You will have another Belarus in the hearth of Europe if protests fail.

Dont blame people of Serbia who are bare handed fighting against heavily armed para military.

      >The increasing attention of the German media is focused on Serbia. The magazine Internacionalna politika in an analysis writes: “In Serbia, the big ones have been going on for months demonstrations against the regime Aleksandar Vučić. **Brussels and Berlin should take a clear position**,” DW reports.

No, lmao. Why would they want their future lithium colony to be a democracy?

    5. Front-Apricot-2421 on

No, because they need lithium, and occupation of Serbia, they have been here twice already, we all know the drill.

Serbia should fight for freedom regardless of what Berlin or anyone else says. We deserve a normal society.

It’s not Germany’s responsibility to make Serbia a democracy though

The last two times Germany got involved in Serbian politics, it didn’t end that well…

I love how people here ask EU to do something, yet NON of them specify what they want EU to do…
There are multiple people underneath the critismn still blames EU for partake in the forcefull ending the Kosovo war.

      I support democracy.
But I am unsure what kinda of support you want, or this is just a veiled attempt of getting us to do something that you afterwards can blame us for.

Best they can do is a strongly worded letter. EU needs to realize that they have to strongly support the few democratic movements in those countries or have even more Russian puppets at (and even within) their borders.

They will not support democracy in Serbia because they need lithium for battery production in their home country. Currently, China is the largest global producer and exporter of lithium, while Germany is the most dependent on it. The goal is to open a mine in Serbia to reduce dependence on China, develop domestic production, and destroy the Serbian ecology with Rio Tinto’s dirty technology.

    12. Will Berlin finally support democracy in Serbia… **and why not**.

The most fundamental question isn’t a political one, it is a question of doing any sort of business with a criminal and utterly illegitimate figure. This guy breaks the law and the constitution most of all on live television and repeatedly so. To shake his hand is to be complicit.
