Serbia, and the rest of the Balkans, would be a much happier region today if NATO had gone a step further than bombing the propaganda station – if NATO had bombed Milošević’s propaganda *minister* too.
Anyway. Serbs toppled Milošević, then Serbs chose Milošević’s protégée as president, then he started oppressing Serbs; now the victims are actual human beings with souls, and that’s tipped the balance for many people in Serbia.

Of course! Down with Vucic. Serbia has taken a sad trajectory since the war, I hope it changes track soon!

I’ve been following the situation from Germany and am hoping that the protests will soon come to a successful ending. It’s terrifying to see Vucics henchmen drive through protesters and how violent the police reacts. Change must come, I’m hoping that more people in Serbia will participate in the movement and that other European nations will acknowledge the situation and the criminal countermeasures from Vucics regime. I would approve of sanctions against those who are behind the violent attacks against protesters.
We see you!

From what I’ve seen, there seem to be a lot of people there while there are barely any counterprotests so they probably are the majority. Their goals also seem good, so yes, I support them

I can’t stand Vucic but I don’t have enough knowledge about the protestors goals and principles aside from ousting Vucic.
It would probably help with headlines that also tell us what they stand for and not only that students are protesting and that they are protesting in large numbers.

Students always have been the engine of progress, so if they think that it is really worth it then it is.

100%, from Georgia. However, our experience shows that Russian-supported regimes don’t fall through peaceful protest, without external support. We are now being repressed and Georgia has become as oppressive as Belarus with new restrictive legislation being introduced twice daily.
My advice, if this is a fight, fight dirty, or the government will win by doing so.

Absolutely not! Protesting against autocratic mafia regimes is a complete waste of time. You should just obey as much as you can. Better yet, help them spread their propaganda. It might even benefit you in the short term. Sure, it’ll be a disaster in the long term, but hey, that’s tomorrow-you’s problem.

Protest authoritarian governments worldwide. This is no different. Keep up the fight!
Some of us have been angry with Vučić for thirty years, since the [genocide era](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PU6t2XWFQD8).
