With two working ships and no Air Force to speak of, “monitoring” is all we’ll be doing

On a serious note though, if ruzzians invade Ireland, how long will we be able to remain an independent state? 2-3 days max?
That’s why Ireland needs to invest heavily in its defence, now!

According to the VesselFinder, Barents (general cargo ship) is currently off the coast of Northern Ireland and Islay. Their last port was Gabes, Tunisia and destination port is Murmansk. It is travelling at a speed of 11.0 kn.
IMMO/MMSI numbers 9278600 / 273385970. For those unaware, IMO and MMSI are both unique identifiers used in maritime communication, but they serve different purposes. IMO (International Maritime Organization) number is a unique seven-digit identifier assigned to ships, while MMSI (Maritime Mobile Service Identity) is a nine-digit number used for maritime communication and distress signals.
What’s even more crazier…so many Malaysian and Hong Kong registered ships bear Russian names. LNG tanker ‘Vladimir Vize’ flying under Hong Kong flag (owner is Arctic Green LNG Shipping Limited) is few miles from Barents and its last port was Sabetta, Russia.
Unreal how many ships are going to/from Russia carrying oil and gas.

oh dear, but what if there will be 2 russian ships at the same time, who do we call for backup?

I have direct orders from the Admiral, we have to dispatch our fleet of Cork fishing boats immediately, they have experience dealing with this type of thing.
