They must know who they are to lock them up, so at that point we should return them to their host country as they are criminals.

When you arrive illegally it tracks that you’ll have less qualms about carrying on with illegal activities

>Analysis by the Conservative party has led to claims that hundreds of migrants who arrive on small boats this year could end up in jail
They should ask themselves how many people arrived by small boats in 2018 and how many in 2022, then ask what happened in between.

let’s face it, being in prison is a better shout, free heating, food, medical care, education, access to gym, etc. better than living on the streets.

The country is basically operating an open borders system. The politicians don’t care because they live in posh areas and are surrounded by security all the time

well duh? if all the legal systems in the country are closed to you then its pretty hard to do anything legall; which funnels folk into illegal activities. Doubly so if youve been smuggled in (and now owe) gangs.
Though I would be skeptical about analysis from and paid for by the conservative party.

“The rate of foreign citizens in jail compared with the overall migrant population in the UK is 0.18 per cent, slightly higher than the average for Britons at 0.14 per cent.
However, the rate is significantly higher for the nationalities who make up the largest small boat arrivals, including Somalians, Afghans, Iraqis, Albanians, and Iranians.”
– Economic migrants arriving on small boats is wrong, and they should be sent back without delay – for breaking the law at the first point of entry.
However, the data cited does not appear to be based on boat people but foreigners in general.
It just so happens that those who perform well in the migrant league tables are also likely to be overrepresented in boat arrivals. It highlights problems with immigration in general and the need for better levels of control.

Observing recent arrivals in a part of London I am intimately familiar with. Parts were always notorious for having their own idea of how various laws should beovapply to them and the area, basically screw it anything goes, and became a local byword for a hive of petty lawbreaking, regulation breaking, exploitation of their own countrymen in housing and employment, low level corruption and civic dishonesty: the new arrivals delivering Eats on their battery powered bemoths, many of whom I suspect have irregular status as it’s easy to melt in in a place with it’s own rules, are on another level, appearing to behave like they are the main character in their own real life Grand Theft Auto adventure. Like others as said, if you don’t believe in rules from day one, you are only going to carry on like they don’t apply to you.

Almost like everyone has been saying all along. Hmmm.
Any lefties in here want to open up your homes to let them stay instead of us paying for them? No? Not enough space? Oh.

We need to verify the safety of the new people before letting them loose.

The Denmark data was pretty damning. Compared Danes, European migrants and North Africa / Middle East migrants.
The difference between Dane and Euro was minimal. NA-ME migrants were co sideravly more likely to commit violent and sexual offences.
