What a cheesy headline.
Clearly the judges never visited Fermoy.
Lived there for a year. Strange place. Kind of a weird vibe of unpredictability where anything could happen. Giving it the title of “least desirable” place in Ireland is beyond ridiculous though.
Surprised its not Dunmanway
>“I find it an amazing town…We have a Tesco, Aldi, Lidl”
Well that’s me convinced.

And it’s much better than it was pre pandemic….
I haven’t really been there since they built the M8 tbh
North Cork, South Limerick and Tipperary. Hurling, cattle and nothing else, bit of misery maybe
They don’t even have a Jysk. Youghal is a hole and it has a Jysk.
my surprise when i see it’s not Ballincollig
Mitchelstown isn’t even the worst town in north Cork nevermind the country.
If I lived in Mitchelstown, I wouldn’t be happy either.
Yet another thread about an article about a listicle.
At least someone’s getting clicks at the expense of the *absolute losers* stuck living in the hellhole that is Mitchelstown /s
Imagine the desperation need to brag about being within commuting distance to Clonmel.
Good for cheese. Bad for people.
