I will be disappointed if their press release does not use the phrase “Release the Kraken”

This makes sense. Their tech is so much better than any other energy company, and this would place Kraken in a position to provide services to other energy companies.
Very interesting, for those that don’t know Octopus is basically a tech company that sells energy, the platform the founder built Kraken is basically the company, handles, CRM, billing all aspects etc… I assume this split off is to easier sell and market Kraken to Octopus competitors.

I hate Octopus with the force of a thousand suns. I would single handedly solve the planet’s energy problem if they made me face a giant solar panel when I’m on the phone to them for the hundredth time this year.
