What Trump says he did and what Trump really did don’t necessarily exist on the same plane of reality.
Unless there is an independent, certified, and contemporary transcript of the conversation between Trump and Putin, then Trump’s statements can not be taken as fact.
Besides, Trump’s claim insinuates that he somehow knew in advance that Putin intended to invade all of Ukraine.
That would be very stupid
US just needs to give the weapons to Ukraine. They can through the missiles themselves.
But Trump cut US aid to Ukraine
Trump lies about everything.
He threatened numerous times before and every time TACO happened, I’m expecting phone calls and further cuts of aid to us.
Wish that actually happened.
I do remember Trump saying that he told Putin if he tried anything, he would “hit him hard”. But that doesn’t mean he actually said that to Putin in any meeting. It’s hard to know when he is just bull$hitting to try to impress his listeners.
