      NATO’s Poland scrambled fighter jets as Russia launched a huge missile and drone attack on Ukraine.

      The Polish Operational Command of the Armed Forces said it had activated “all available forces and resources” in response to the attack.

      This included scrambling pairs of fighter jets and putting ground-based air defense and radar reconnaissance systems at “the highest state of readiness”.

      “The measures taken are aimed at ensuring security in areas bordering the threatened regions,” Operational Command said in a post on X, originally in Polish.

      Does anyone know if it would be theoretically possible to shoot down at least *some* drones and missiles while staying inside polish airspace? So that We could at least protect a part of Ukraine. I can’t imagine Russia would/could retaliate in that case.
