    1. It depends primarily on the decision of the Germans. Stealthily pushing immigrants to neighboring countries is not the solution to the problem of illegal immigration.

Nah, checks should be back. There is too much illegal immigration going on and the right is capitalizing on it. Time to find solutions and be stricter with certain immigrants for europe to prosper. we can’t let everybody in.

Schengen must stay with “temporary” checks made by Germany with its neighbors that are lasting years? Nice one

So stop controls on your side. They’ve been going on since 2023.

This is not about schengen, this is about the dublin agreement.

Checking is good thing, we need to protect europe from ilegal imigration

Beware of bandits. If you see guys looking like normal European soldiers or police, treat them normally, they are normal guys, friendly, they are ordered to treat visitors with respect.

But if you see guys that look more like thugs – well, they are bandits. You have every right to defend yourself, even using your car. They have no right to stop you. They are bandits and treat them like bandits they are.

They make troubles in Poland. Poles living near west border are scared of them. They are very hostile, aggressive and abusive. A nasty bunch, probably funded by Russians.

Not the main story here but I’m so sick and tired of seeing the proliferation of tags across more and more surfaces in Europe. This pointless, ugly, artless scrawling is so incredibly tedious

Which languages use the name Polen? We say that for Poland in Swedish, so became curious because of the sign.

Whether they stay or not, it’s not to prevent Germans from entering Poland anyway. This whole situation stems from a lack of dialogue and cooperation, which is sad because we’re supposed to be allies. I wish this whole situation was resolved without either side antagonising the other…

If you would have asked me a decade ago what could bring down shengen. My answer would be stuff like brexit… Trade wars with China…

Mass migration problems wasn’t on the list… Then 2015 happened.

    12. I think Tusk or someone from the Polish gov was pretty clear. If Germany stops controlling border, Poland will follow and stop too. It’s really up to Germany and I hope noone will push different narrative.

This “checking” is nothing like real border controls. Even if this stays, it’s still way better than what borders usually look like in the world.

Up the quarterpipe, 50-50 grind and a spine transfer down the other quarterpipe

The border checking was started by far right idiots that can be compared to the brown shirts in Germany. The god, fatherland, honor type. See this: [https://youtu.be/S8Vm2X-dZfo?t=109](https://youtu.be/S8Vm2X-dZfo?t=109)

Tusk reacted and started to check for a month with Germany/Lithuania. Swinoujscie is mostly German Tourists, it would be shot in the foot to close the border there.

    16. Trisyphos on

Well when outer Schengen border don’t work, countries are forced to secure their own borders. This isn’t fault of Germany.

Im Polish and im in a long-distance relationship with someone from Germany. So far he’s been the one visiting me, I’ve never really been outside of Poland myself, but planned on visiting him later this year, so this kind of stuff does kinda worry me…
