Nuclear deterrence didn’t stop Ukraine from taking over Kursk and it didn’t stop Ukrainian missiles from wrecking havoc on Russian critical infras.
It certainly won’t stop Russia from attacking European cities. Nuclear Deterrence is effective only if you are proven to be willing to go mutual suicide. Nobody does.
Who in France or UK is ready to press the red button over little Russian green men in Estonia, Ukraine, Romania, Poland, etc?
