      When he was chancellor, Jeremy hunt said these freezes would continue till 2028, so for the conservatives to now be furious about the freezes continuing is beyond hypocritical

      Compared with fucking around with pension tax relief, i would take the freezing of the tax thresholds now. What’s another year?

      Nothing like having your wages pushes up by inflation then having them taxed away.
      You can’t even work more overtime to keep up with price increases because you end up working for half wages after tax

      Remember, freezing the threshold for as long as they have been is the largest possible tax hike on the poorest in society that it’s possible to make.

      It barely affects the wealthy and the henries though.
