Ho avuto questo mondo nella parte posteriore della mia testa per anni e ora ho finalmente avuto il tempo e l’energia per mettere insieme alcune cose. Questo è un mondo ispirato alla mitologia finlandese, alla cultura finlandese e alla Kalevala, mescolata con un po ‘di umorismo D&D-Stuff e finlandese. Ad esempio, gli eventi di Kalevala sono canonici, ma lo sono anche i leggendari tornei di Hytty e Saunaklonkku.
Ho giocato a Dungeons & Dragons in questo mondo per un po ‘di tempo e i miei giocatori lo adorano assolutamente. È così interessante mescolare la mitologia del mondo reale, la geografia e le aspettative e ruotarli in qualcosa di nuovo.
Se giochi a D&D o sei solo interessato alla mitologia finlandese, sarei così grato se controllassi il mio Patreon. Pubblico anche alcune cose gratuite e ci sono livelli separati per giocatori di D&D e persone che vogliono solo la tradizione o giocano un sistema diverso. Tutti i posti di tradi sono in finlandese e inglese. Anche l’arte è da parte mia (assolutamente nessun AI).

Are you familiar with this curiosity from the past? It was not a great game but had some interesting stuff related to your project.
Maybe I would not base the maps on real world maps because the locations are kind of contested. The reading that Pohjola = Lapland is quite modern. Some interpretations say that the events take place around Lake Ladoga in modern day Russia. Pohjola being the norther shore of the lake and the land of Kalevala the southern shore. Some interpretations say that the land of Kalevala is actually on the south side of the Baltic Sea in modern day Estonia. Some say the geography is entirely mythical and does not correspond to any real locations and possibly “Pohjola” is another plane of existence. And so on..
So I would just maybe create a completely new map with some kind of body of water in the center.
But I don’t know, I don’t take this stuff so seriously.
