Not really the sort of reaction you’d want from your police officer. I know it sounds insensitive.
It’s horrible and you hate to see it, that’s someone’s mum, daughter at the end of day. Saying that though being on the front line is a dangerous job, I’ve seen a few policewomen out and about and thought “if if kicked off, she’d have no chance”.
Congratulations to the hero male police officer who dealt with these barbarians effectively.
Shame on the evil scumbags (and there are hundreds of them on this sub) who tried to make out that he was anything other than that.
Horrible to see and I feel for her.
But she’s clearly not fit for the task of front line policing at an Airport…
Say it all kicks off, real active terrorist threat at hand is she just going to cry hysterically and wave her arms about because she was punched in the face once ?
It isn’t just this incident either you see it all the time police walking around town centres that would be knocked off their feet by a strong breeze. If anything was to actually happen they’re doing precisely nothing.

A tweet by Rochdale’s MP a day after the incident. He completely threw Manchester Police under the bus. Still not retracted and he still hasn’t apologised.
You might be wondering why. Well, his majority is only 1440 votes. Runner up was George Galloway and the Workers Party of Britain.
The two guys who were there and witnessed it all and then only posted the video of the last kick should end up in prison too imo for incitement

The attacker is a big guy, and clearly knows how to fight. To attack a woman in any way is abhorrent, but someone of his size doing so at full strength is just inconceivable to me.
Outrageous that these savages were walking the streets so soon after their assault of multiple police officers. It’s hard to justify the decision even if there was a baying mob demanding their release outside the police station.
It’s hard to imagine members of the far right, football supporters or anyone else getting the same kid gloves treatment after they’d done that.
An example needs to be set in this trial.
Hopefully those savages spend a long time behind bars.
Somebody who was never supposed to be hired. Put in a position they were never supposed to be. Endangering herself, the public and her colleagues for the sake for a diversity quota.
Male officer did 80% of the work (one of the female officers fired a tazer, I’d give her that). Took 90% of the physical punishment (they used his head as a punching bag) and then received all the blame (omg he might’ve tried to kick the attacker after he hit him 10 times in the head!!!) and none of the sympathy. All for equal pay! 🙂

The response on twitter is **MUCH** different, just a bunch of men laughing & saying she’s a disgrace to the uniform, woman shouldn’t be allowed to be police officers etc. mental.
This is NOT AIMED AT WOMEN or intended as a form of misogyny because I know how redditors like to immediately rush to conclusions (people reading this right now are undoubtedly doing mental gymnastics to make it seem that way); but you have to call into question the effectiveness of a police officer of ANY GENDER who immediately folds at the sight of confrontation or comes under physical assault and is utterly helpless. If the people supposed to protect you, can’t protect themselves, then should they even be a police officer?

The blame lies 100% with the two thugs who did this. Nobody else.

I’m sorry but why on earth are they even sending a heavily pregnant officer to deal with someone who they already knew was violent?
Honestly, I’m not sure why this video has been disclosed to the public.
The poor cops worst professional day, and possibly worst day of her life is being plastered over the news at her most vulnerable state. It’s really distressing to watch how much physical and emotional pain she’s in.
Disgusting humans that did that, and the cop has my upmost respect.
