Insane stuff no matter what way you look at it.

For every person working, there is one person claiming.

    3. Simon Harris calls it the “squeezed middle”, he just neglected to say it’s not the middle, it’s the 20% who ate paying for everyone else And it’s his government that’s doing the squeezing.

You might need to add on the excess people “employed” in the government departments and quangos, easily 20% , it’s the reason Ireland can’t deliver

And reading the headline without the context….are we meant to be outraged?

Not really news, more like lazy journalism designed to infuriate people

Considering social protection covers everything from pensions, to disability, to unemployment, to child benefit, and far more besides, that doesn’t surprise me.

A massive amount of people will fit into at least one of those categories, if not more.

Great headline to incense people and start the seeds about people whom recieve any type of social welfare that it is undeserved and they are probably scamming/lazy/ etc . We all know the tropes.
