Great developments for Italy. They were nothing in the cricket world 6-7 years back and now they have qualified for the t20 World Cup. Great thing for our sport, hoping this gets more people in Italy to start watching cricket!
Fun fact, AC Milan was initially founded as a cricket and football club before they switched to football permanently in the early 20th century!
Da quello che ho capito non c’è un singolo giocatore nato o cresciuto in Italia in questa nazionale, tutti australiani, inglesi etc. con bisnonni o trisavoli italiani. Speravo almeno in qualche italiano magari di origine indiana o pakistana…

I know cricket ain’t famous in Italy , but as cricket viewer from India , this is really huge , the team has got good amount of half Italians that have origin from cricket playing countries
Cricket is really interesting game , the t20 format for which they have qualified is 4 hours of absolute thrill and entertainment
Hopefully this helps growing the sport in the country , now that cricket being introduced in olympics too , it’s great to have one more sport getting famous worldwide , sports and music are two things that unites people regardless differences
