Only the ones where they’re held on by electrician’s tape.
And only red or blue tape, for some reason.

One remote has, the other hasn’t. Problem is they’ve either lost or hidden the remotes. And they can’t remember where they hid them.

Since when do remotes have back covers? Never seen one.

Yes! Never had this issue.
I always had an old one (without batteries) that they would play with.
Although I’m a bitch for clicking them opened and closed. Drives the husband bananas.

Right, I know you won’t believe me, but!! The first day I got the new box (4 years ago), I sat on the controller and snapped it in 1/2. Still wotking and still have the back!! No tape, nothing!!

I found a remote the other day after it being missing for a long time. We didn’t even have the same tv anymore.

Still on the back of our firestick remote.
For now.
I got the firestick on Tuesday.

Never had an issue, although remote control travels quite a bit, with occasional “mommy where is a remote” hell if I know I touched it last over a week ago.

I buy protective covers for the remotes on AliExpress. Usually just a couple of euros each. Helps to stop breaking them from drops too.

Yes but the remotes often live up in a high place.

All are still in place. Granted my daughter is less than 48 hours old and hasn’t been home yet. But I’m optimistic for the 3 months at least

Our remote doesn’t have a battery cover – the battery is built in. Can charge with the charging stand (works well unless the cat knocks it over), or by plugging in the USB cable.
