Aren’t these the same MEPs that refused to vote no confidence in the von der Leyen recently? The same EU President that backed Israel and called them ‘the only source of Stability in the middle east’!

The Commission will pick Israel over Ireland at any opportunity. Remember this

Yeah, say what you will about Irish politicians, I don’t think any major Irish politician would exhibit the same level of spinelessness we’ve seen exhibited from the likes of Rutte, Kallas and VDL in recent months.
Then there’s Infantino, who ostensibly is a politician and has resided in Trump’s rectum so long he now pays tax there.
Sometimes feels like it’s more acceptable to be sycophantic and obsequious elsewhere in Europe.

Kaja Kallas has been very disappointing lately. European credibility is going further and further down the drain the longer the EU turns a blind eye to Israel. It hurts European efforts to champion genuine causes like Ukraine to the rest of the world.
I am as pro EU as they come, but the lack of action on this issue has damaged my estimation of the EU. They can’t stay on the fence forever.

This is, at best, theatre by the EU.
It’s crystal clear to all that the EU and US support everything that is going on in Gaza, anything that isn’t harsh sanctions on the economy of Israel is insufficient.
