Thank fuck. I really hate being able to pay my electricity bill, gas bill, and groceries, but at least we have austerity so we can pay the fealty tax to America so their vassal nazi country can survive economically from their genocide.
Cost aside, but why?
The system has very specific use case, and I don’t see how that fits Romanian case?

Greece is already negotiating with Israel for it’s own iron dome system, called Achilles Shield.
Most idiotic thing, in my opinion as a Romanian.
Israel is not an ally and cannot be one. A genocidal militaristic and fascistic regime cannot be a good partner. Especially since they could in theory, sabotage you, same as Ukraine was sabotaged by the US several times.
Our government chose Israel because it was the cheapest option, not opting for France or Germany because of the cost. But there is also the security cost. This is a very weak option because it is non-NATO equipment and it is not produced in the EU which would be the best case scenario.
This is just stupid.
Romania isn’t exactly in a financial situation where it can just be throwing money at this stuff. Then on top of it, the Iron Dome is basically useless for any country larger than Israel. Romania is literally 11.5 times larger than Israel. Then to top it off, the costs of the Iron Dome to maintain are massive. Literally Israel would NOT be able to afford to maintain the Iron Dome without daddy USA footing some of the bill all the time.
