So, has Ukraine stopped the Russian offensive and is preparing to retake its territories, orĀ Zelensky has another strategy?

The war has been a standstill for years now. Russia can capture empty villages with a pre-war population of ~300 by sacrificing thousands of its own. This laughable result is only achieved by burning through cold-war era supplies and equipment, once those run out, they will literally have nothing to fight with.
I do not know what their expectations were but this is just burning their remaining resources for nothing to become a Chinese vassal state in the end.

There is no victory in a stalemate. It just delays the next attack. If Russia / the structure of Putin needs to collapse to prevent this, then send weapons that will create the conditions for that collapse. What can be destroyed with long-range weapons / cruise missiles that can not easily be repaired? That strikes not just at the Russians’ ability to attack but for the Russian government/centre of political power/Putin to exist.
