    1. Can only comment on the narrator part. You would have to be +65 years old or so to know him. I’m to young to now and to old to know the answer for your initial question.

Thats Poul Thomsen from “dus med dyrene” “on good terms with the animals” i guess it can be translated to.

Nu kommer gulbugen, I lighed med stæren, er gulbugen en mester i at efterligne andre fugle stemmer. Således er sangen ofte bestemt af de omgivende fugles stemmer.

*Now we will listen to the yellowbellow. Just as the starling, the yellowbelly is a master of copying other bird calls. Therefore the song (of the yellowbellow) is often dictated by the other birds in the area.*

Gulbugen har dog en række karakteristiske snærende lyde, der er dens egne, og som afsløre den.

*But the yellowbellow does have a series of characteristic [snærende, not translated] sounds, which only it has, which reveals it.*

    4. Hi all, This is a great band! They used to be called ‘Dans og Lær’ but has recently renamed the band to ‘Næb’. Just want to correct the other comments that the narrator is not Poul Thomsen but Ole Geertz-Hansen. He is not well known but they have used samples from tapes where he explains the behaviour of different bird species. Most of their songs (maybe except the new release under the band name Næb) focus on a different bird on each track.

For context: The song is made by Næb/Beak (formerly known as Dans & Lær/Dance & learn). The voice is from an old birdwatching tape which the singer grew up listening to. Almost every song of theirs is named after a bird race with lyrics describing the characteristics of said bird. Everyone should see them live! They come off as a novelty act, but they put on a hell of a show. Their musicianship is genuinly great

[They even made a record in english about birds from New Zealand](https://open.spotify.com/album/48bZoPbGlvUjOxhgdX2fQX?si=p-1LcLvZSVqZrIW5kNtUYg)
