Poland and Lithuania won a significant military victory, they did not fully exploit it diplomatically or strategically in the immediate aftermath.

The subsequent Peace of Thorn (1411) granted only modest territorial concessions to Poland and Lithuania. The Teutonic Order retained most of its core lands.

The order has always been a fringe force and its success, as much as there is one, is more to do with the disarray of the states in the region than their own military acumen.
