I remain extremely skeptical on the narrative coming from Washington regarding Ukraine/Putin. We still do not know the exact details surrounding the type of military aid going to the EU/Ukraine.
This isn’t the US supplying aid directly to Ukraine but rather to the EU. The White House seems to be doing an extensive press tour to convince the public Trump’s stance has “changed” his stance after the July 3rd call with selective quotes coming from the Washington Post and Financial Times regarding potential strategy if long term missiles are provided.
Wouldn’t a stronger response have been direct aid to Ukraine along with strong secondary tarrifs with countries that deal with Russia?
