we can never know if he actually has rabies or not. so yeah.
There is a very, very slim chance that he has rabies but in Turkey it’s taught to get your shots immediately if you get bitten by strays because of the what if. So yeah go get it.
it’s a quick process, no need to risk it
I would not risk it
Rabies is not common, i never get vaccines after get bitten and nothing happened but we never know…
Adorable
no
better safe than sorry, meanwhile you are probably %99.9 safe
yes, the chance is never zero, but id like to remind everyone that there were 0 cases of rabies caused by cats in Turkey for over 10 years.
i get bitten and scratched monthly yet ive never got the shot
hi guys i think im going to get it just incase but does anyone know where to go to get it?? do i just go to any hospital/doctors office?
Go get it. Rabies is a horrible way to go… for basically no reason. That being said, you are 99.9% fine.
Go to nearest “ sağlık ocağı “ you don’t need to go hospital,
Sağlık ocağı is a primary healthcare center, they would ask you to buy rabies vac. From the pharmacy and apply to you
Kidnap the cat, observe it for 10 days, meanwhile get your first, second and third shots. If the cat is both alive and symptom-free on day 10, it’s rabies-free. That’s what my nurse told me.
I wouldn’t bother getting it. I get bitten by cats like 20-30 times a year, the chances of any one of them having rabies is less than me winning the lottery. I live in Istanbul. This is not medical advice.
%99.999999998 you’re ok but go get your shot because you shouldn’t take your chances with rabies.
I dont think so but do it just in case
its better safe than sorry dude ir dudess.
If you get bitten by any stray animal just get rabies vaccinated immediately. Its one of the most serious thing in life and you should not stand on possibilities, it it has or not etc. Because if it has and so do you, if you dont be quick, when the symptoms show up its over.
Rabies has no cure, once you start acting along the symptoms it means the irreversible process started. Ive heard that you should get vaccinated in the next 2 days after the bite. But the earliest is the best right, its about life.
