    1. Oh look another purge. At this point I dont know why more Conservatives arent defecting to Labour instead of Reform. Labour is the most competent conservative government we’ve had in years.

    2. Slow_Price4631 on

how about labour suspends Keir Starmer, for being an obvious plant.

    3. Greedy-Tutor3824 on

It’s funny how people called Corbyn a socialist/communist but we ended up with ~~Stalin~~ Starmer, hijacking the Labour Party to his own ends and ideology.

    4. robbberry on

He’s captured the Labour Party, purged the left and created a second Tory party. If he thinks we’ll vote for him just to keep Farage out, he can shove it up his arse.

    5. SamPlinth on

Has there ever been a government who suspended enough of their MPs to no longer be the majority party?

It would be hilarious if Labour did that.

    6. jtrimm98 on

There’s probably space in the green party or Corbyns party for these MPs

    7. wkavinsky on

The purges have resumed and will continue until you get behind the Glorious Leader and what the PLP want to do.

      No individual opinions allowed.

    8. Necessary-Product361 on

Is he stupid? He can control the left if they stay inside the party and are given small concessions, like Blair did. By chucking them all out he is inviting them to challenge Labour at the next election in the new Corbyn/Sultana party.

    9. Ethics about the policy aside, this is just extremely stupid politics from Starmer. The fallout from the welfare bill had just about died down in the media and he’s just dropped it back into the news cycle.

He’s so unbelievably bad at this.

    10. goodtitties on

really is incredible how bad the sensible adult in the room is at optics, given that’s basically all he has to offer

    11. Bridgeboy95 on

You will respect Lex Luthor..i mean Keir Starmer or be purged!

    12. ManOnNoMission on

Unless something big comes out as a reason this comes off as pathetic and short sighted.

    13. HumoursOfDonnybrook on

If I was polling jointly with a party that hadn’t even launched yet made up of MPs I’d previously fucked out of the party, I’d simply consider not removing the whip from a load more of them.

    14. Defiant_Title_2589 on

Whatever else about Blair but I’m pretty sure they never suspended anybody for voting against them.

    15. SaltEOnyxxu on

Yeah if Maskell isn’t a Labour member I am never voting for Labour again. Good on my MP for listening to her constituents. ❤️

    16. Mostly_upright on

Another Purge for a “leader” that’s drowning in his caca.

    17. SaltEOnyxxu on

Nobody is talking about the optics here. Labour has suspended MP’s for sticking up for *DISABLED* people.

Can nobody see what they’re doing to an entire protected group of vulnerable people?? How is this what Labour suspended MP’s over?

    18. HELPFUL_HULK on

The late David Graeber, as prescient as always, in 2020:

“the Labour Party under Starmer will abandon its core idealism & principles and it won’t even gain tactical advantage. It will be a party which gives no one a reason to vote for it, and no one will, in fact, vote for it.”

    19. hammer_of_grabthar on

They love to bang on about the Labour party being a ‘broad church’, but only as long as you take those differences, shove them up your arse, and do what Kier says.

His leadership skills are absolutely atrocious.

    20. RafaSquared on

      Pathetic, weak and anti-democratic.

If this guy is still in charge in 3 years Labour will be done for for another decade at least.

    21. Aggravating-Day-2864 on

Would suspend my local labour MPs for not voting where they should as well….SEVERAL TIMES

    22. LyingFacts on

The line of terrible PM’s has been one hellishly bad run. One after the other.

    23. Outrageous-Figure949 on

He waits until after the last PMQs of the term to do this and avoid scrutiny.

      Such a worm.

    24. Trick_Bus9133 on

**”**breaches of discipline” **AKA** sticking up for disabled people and disagreeing with him. He’sthrown out everyone that disagrees with him targeting the vulnerable to give extra to his rich mates.

    25. No-One-4845 on

This unrelenting intolerance will be coming from Morgan McSweeney. A plank of wood with a face painted on it could have “strategised” Labour’s last election win… given that they won by default. It baffles me that McSweeney has as much clout as he does. He really hasn’t done anything of note to deserve it, and the state Labour is in is in no small part down to the misguided idea that McSweeney has even an iota of an idea of what he’s doing. You’d have thought Starmer would have sacked him after the omnishambles of the last year.

    26. ShockingShorties on

Starmer has one objective and one objective only – to destroy the Parliamentary Labour Party.

      And he’s doing a SPANKING good job…….

    27. Busy_Bus1957 on

Sounds like any MP not perfectly in line with his views is just getting suspended…

Politicians – You work for the People! (clue is in the name)

However, if you go against the PARTY ideals, you will be reprimanded!
