Russia is one of the (if not the) most imperialist countries in the world, founded on bloodshed that was never amended. Russian national minorities have little to no rights, and there is an implicit racial hyerarchy everywhere in the Federation (as there was in the USSR).

A good representation of Russia’s imperialist and warmongering nature.

Russia is, by design, discombobulated and dysfunctional. The people in power know it but are too languid to do anything about it. Russia is a miasma, plain and simple.

This is pretty much how any largish country managed to stay united. By brutal genocide of the local ethnicities, be it cultural or in general.

Non-daily reminder that Russia was also a colonizer.

It wasn’t just alaska, but their entire push to the west together with great game with britain over middle east.

    7. Sorry, but conquest of the European part of the Grest Steppe was absolutely justified. Enslaving, pillaging and murdering was literally the main pillar of nomads’ economy and society.
